Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London, is an British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. She is most famous as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actress. The role was reprised by her for Sex and the City 2: Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. The films also include Porky's and Porky's in 1980, as well her role on Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
