Cyrus was as a character in Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show about a teenage woman who lives a double life as a singer) in the role of Hannah Montana, who is the protagonist. Her father also starred alongside the actress in her. The show's success led to there were hit records with sold-out shows and deals for merchandise. Cyrus gained fame when she was an teen. Cyrus was able to take on new roles following the fame and popularity in Hannah Montana 2006. She appeared as Ronnie Miller, alongside Demi Mood on The Last Song in 2010 as well as Lola along with Demi in LOL in 2012.
